Anyone else on the Ryanair flight from Birmingham at 19.55 on Sunday 20th after the Wasps game, just exploring options for getting back from the ground to the airport ?.

Nope, but I am thinking of buying a bigger, more powerful and faster car to get me out of Coventry as quickly as possible after the game.

Meh, its not Hull but its not exactly Bath either. Whatever the cities merits, the Ricoh is stuck in A-road intersection hell as far as I'm concerned. That, and our last visit may have coloured my impressions of the place...

It doesn't help when they build a new Railway Station by the Ricoh, then close it on match days because the trains can't cope. Park y Scarlets, the Mad Stad and Stade Ernest Wallon are all stuck out by road intersections/shopping centres and are soulless places.

Yeah even the stadium itself is dead inside despite being a pretty decent stadium. If you plonked that into D4 instead of the RDS it'd be fine but I've been twice and from the second we got off the train we just felt like we shouldn't be there. It doesn't feel dangerous or anything, but it reminded me of learning to drive in an industrial estate on quiet Sunday mornings.

On the plus side they serve a good ale at the bar. Probably the only thing English clubs get right

Ah, the pies are good soakage too, and the fans in real clubs/stadiums (Bath, Northampton, Quins etc.) are generally pretty sound as well. It's not a trip to the south of France, but it's better than Wales.

Unfortunately, I've taken England off my list of destinations at the moment, due to the general unpleasantness there since the referendum, so no pies or ales for me.

Leinster’s tournament-opening clash with Wasps at the Aviva Stadium on Friday 10 October is set to be overseen by Romain Poite.

Hopefully Romain doesn't turn up at the Aviva with the match on down the road!

Barnes for our second game in France, which I'd be happy enough with.

I’m fearful of this game, we are still just starting to get our players going, while wasps have already had two hardy games. They will definitely be up to full steam at the RDS. With Toulouse looking like they are getting back to their old ways, this group could be as tough as last year.

Wasps are a good side alright. Our front five should be the key.

Toulouse and Bath are both very beatable home and away though.

Toulouse aren't a shadow of the side they were.

They're missing basically an entire backrow in Willis, Carr, Young and possibly Shields who's out for 4 weeks with a broken cheek bone. It's not clear at all they'll be up at full steam for the game in the RDS.
Ruddock's tackle stats consistently too low for me to be taken seriously as a Six Nations blindside..... Ruddock's defensive stats don't stack up. - All Blacks Nil, Jan 15th, 2014

Bath have serious talent in their squad and could easily turn us over.
