Oh no, it's happening again...Flanagan, Beirne, Thornbury, Regan, who's next? (Someone will pick up Cormac Daly and he'll suddenly become the next John Eales..)

wouldn't class Beirne with them, he is actually an excellent player.

Wait and see how Regan develops up north..

Flanagan or Nagle? Hmm.. hard to call IMO.

Thornbury looked pretty good at the end of last season IMO.

Is Cian Prendergast not still in school? I had thought he was a 5th year last year?

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Outstanding knowledge. 90% of the information on age-grade rugby I get these days comes from Mildly.

My proportion is only 85%, but its the 85% I trust as not being generated by Coaches, Parents, College or Club mates.

Brilliantly researched and objectively cateloged.

Same here; I would never question Mildly on the facts of under age or academy players. He’s always credible and well researched.

I may on occasion argue with him a bit on the interpretation of that material though. But I never doubt his integrity. :-)

Jack Dunne looking both bigger and leaner in training here [link: https://www.sportsfile.com/id/1577968/ ] than he did six months ago [link: http://www.the42.ie/jack-dunne-ireland- ... 2-Mar2018/ ]. Obviously putting in serious effort in terms of his S&C and nutrition and it looks like it's paying off already.

I have high hopes for this kid. I think he's going to be a long-term player for us. He's a bright guy, a hard worker and has the physical tools. His skills seemed pretty good at U20 level, if nothing out of the ordinary. Time will tell if he has the competitive streak to really excel at professional level.
