Newpark beat Fintans. That's a bit of a surprise.
Nah Fintans taken a big step back, where as newpark are stronger than usual with Leinster u18 club captain at 8.

I wonder if we'll ever see the calibre of player that we saw in '05

Messrs Healy, Madigan and Fitzgerald spring to mind. In any case, heres hoping for a vintage cup. The purest competition there is.

2013 was childs play compared to '05.

Never heard of any of the non capped players. The other three have a lot to prove before they can touch 05

Max Deegan was on the Michael’s bench in 2013 (a 4th yr like Ryan).

5 of those 2013 finalists played for Leinster today plus ROL from 2012

Friendly SCT result: Michael’s beat League winners Gonzaga 21-12. Only Gonzaga’s 2nd loss all year.

11 January 2019

The Bank of Ireland Leinster Rugby Schools Senior Cup has a new home in Ireland with games starting this month televised live on FreeSports.

The first of eight games to be televised by the new station takes place on January 31st as Belvedere College face Cistercian College, Roscrea in Energia Park.

The premier rugby competition for secondary schools in Leinster is 132 years old, first beginning in 1887 and for the first time, FreeSports will broadcast eight games in the 2019 campaign.

This will include all four quarter-finals, both semi-finals and the final live on the free to air channel.

FreeSports owner Michael O’Rourke continues his long standing relationship with the Leinster Rugby Schools Senior Cup having previously broadcast the competition on Setanta Sports Ireland.

FreeSports officially launched in Ireland on Sky channel 429 this week having been inundated with requests from Irish sports fans wanting access to the channel. The free-to-air channel started broadcasting in the UK just under 18 months ago and is the fastest growing sports channel in the UK given its access to 22 million homes coupled with being the only dedicated free sports channel in the UK.

Ireland’s newest channel is operated by the team behind Premier Sports, a subscription based channel in the UK that cover all 152 games of the Guinness PRO14.

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you
