Theres a question over vdF too - back in training is not the same as available for selection.
I assume the lads will be back in today and we will get the vague update as per normal. Not that I'm complaining, why give out information that can be used by the opposition.

Tell who what? Who knows who's in charge down south, I'd not be surprised if Big Bird took the next presser.

JVDF and JGP both fit for Sat, as are Earls and Carbery.

That's good news, I'd be tempted to start them both. Wouldn't like to speculate too much about the selection though, all depends on how battered the players were after Saturday. After games like that I always like to make a lot of changes to freshen things up. I know it's Munster and I know it'll be brutal, but I'd rather have guys who were fresh than just big names for the sake of it. For example, I thought Healy, Furlong, and Fardy were immense on Saturday, but will that have taken too much out of them to start on Saturday (and hopefully the final) as well? Impossible to know.

I've started thinking about the team for this one and I'm starting to get a good feeling about this match.

Regarding the query on Porter's fitness. He was one of the No. 24s in the warm-up on Saturday and he was knocking down guys in Yellow Bibs like they were opponents. Apparently very disappointed last Tuesday when Leo broke the Squad selection to him. I'm with @hugonaut on Andrew P. Let him loose and let's see if 'Killer' is up for an afternoon of mayhem.

Stop calling him 'killer'. Guy is very overrated. Can't scrummage and makes a couple of decent runs with ball in hand over 80 mins. Would ger eaten alive if he played in the English premiership. Poor mans Healy.

You're right. Nicknames have to be 100% accurate to traits and ability.

Prime example: we all know that James Ryan is in fact, a giant piece of cheese thus having a very apt nickname.

Sean Cronin is quite clearly a small, compact chunk or clump also...

Will Connors is a literal pile of oats
