Northampton looking quite comfortable against Lyon. Is it just me or do Lyon look a little bit too heavy? They’re chugging around the field like they’re hungover at times

The only way this could be more typically French is if they put 40 points on us next week. I'd be willing to bet a lot of money that every pass will stick for them against us

Hard to tell really from this game. Lyon have thrown 3 or 4 intercepts in try scoring positions. Nuts.

With the way Lyon are playing and the lead they have I can't understand why Northampton are taking kicks instead of going for the TBP. It would be a failure to come away from this with only four points.

managed to butcher a few great chances. weren 't a few lyons players out for barbarians duty last night?
lyon looked poor, made saints look better than they are.
no BP for both could be good for us.

Racing 13-0 up after 20 minutes. Saracens just got a scrum penno to get 3.

Love the English commentators invention of a foot in touch which wasn't there and no amount of replays will conjure into existence. It reminds me of the Errol Morris book "believing is seeing".

'kinell, 10 minutes later and they are still fantasising that Thomas was in touch. Money in particular has gone full truther on it.

On the other hand they didn't make a deal about what looks like obstruction for the first racing try.

racing look disappointed at the end. should a hit 50 against Saracens.
BP useful. munster & racing to come out of that pool.
guessing that the absence of Farrell & Co (are they still in therapy?) means that mccall is not expecting the appeal to go well and focussing on premiership survival and maybe european competition in 2021.

I believe they announced that they wouldn't appeal.

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

Didn't know that, thanks. how do they continue with the current full squad if they are still falling foul of the salary cap? anyone know?
Happy days for munster I suppose.

Not only did all the provinces win this weekend, but if you ignore Scotland, as you should, teams from all the other participating countries were defeated in the process.

It’s not the end of the world for Saracens though. They will still expect to have 15-20 points coming into the final game vs racing and 20pts isn’t an insurmountable difference for them at home to a French team. That bp for Munster was really important.

Despite the scoreline I didn't think sarries were that bad. They are a well run club (coaching wise) :D . Racing were just very good, and Vacatawa was awesome.
