A 32-0 Season?!

Post by leinsterfan100 »

Just in case anyone was wondering.... :) Abysmal odds for such an unlikely outcome IMO

We'd have to listen to it to know that.

I enjoy it to be honest. Once Luke doesn't laugh or interview people its a really good listen.

To be clear... You like the Luke Fitz podcast as long as you can't hear Luke.

I don't disagree with you... I'm just wondering why you don't listen to the other podcasts that also don't have Luke

I like your right leg. A lovely leg for the role.
I've got nothing against your right leg.
The trouble is ... neither have you

With 21 games left that works out at around 1/8 for every remaining match of the season. Bearing in mind that would have to include 5 knockout games and matches home and away against teams like Munster, Ulster and Lyon, 14/1 is awful odds. You would be better off backing Leinster at evens (1/1) in 4 matches, which would result in total odds of 16/1.

That's clearly not what I said ................. and I listen to many podcasts with many people, some of which contain a Luke.

I haven't listened to it in ages so maybe he has improved but....I can't hack it at all. I'm sure he's a nice chap and all but i just can take him starting 8 sentences and finishing none of them. Interupting and basically saying nothing with 500 words. It's a stressful listen.

He went down a lot in my eyes with his Richardt Strauss comments. I like the show when he's not speaking though. Will Slattery can be a bit deferential but I like his enthusiasm for everything he talks about.

Those are abysmal odds though, and there's no way we won't lose matches this season.

Just back each match individually, rolling over the winnings each time and the odds will be exponentially higher than that.
It's a real sucker bet just like backing a team to win the Grand Slam.

Based on fixtures, I'm calling it 29-3.

Purely in the interests of where to best risk the family fortune.
What three games do you reckon we are most likely to lose.
I would also think that it might be wise to bank a % of the winnings rather than rolling the lot over.
Thanks in advance.

Cheetahs away and Ulster away would be the top two contenders. Munster away and maybe Scarlets away would be possible to lose too.

Any of our April league fixtures if we're safe in the league. We have form losing to Treviso and Dragons at that stage of the season.

If we end up with the Champions Cup and Pro14 trophies again then I won't give a flying f%~k about 3 league games!
