Both the IFA and the FAI still claim to be the only legitimate football association on the Island and that their team is actually Ireland. No choice in the matter there - FIFA edict to stop the FAI and the IFA acting the dick
If the FAI does go into liquidation though, there will be nothing stopping the IFA selection calling itself Ireland.
