That’s a very strong looking pack, lots of talent in the forwards that’s for sure
Would be interesting to see what the backs are like this year as the only player I really know in it is Andrew Smith and he can’t stop scoring tries at the moment. If we’re anywhere near as good as last years team it will be a success

IMO we are well off last years team in terms of depth.

Big downgrades at in front line talent at 9 and depth at 10.

Hopefully there'll be a few surprises like last year. There usually are a few relatively unknowns who make a name for themselves.

I always knew we were going to do well last year after looking at the squad, it was arguably the best squad we’ve ever had

Corkery is a big unknown. If Finlay was rated in Ulster he'd be in their academy but he isn't. But yeah hopefully.

Both outhalves who played for Ireland u18 for this age group are absent, Paddy McKenzie and Dylan Prendergast.. Which is notable

Keep an eye on the Leinster A team to play Ulster on Friday for some indications of U.20 rankings. Possibly alterations in front and back-row and half-back rankings.

So Ward to start at 1?
SOB at 6?
Corkery on bench?

If Corkery started the 1st game at 10 his rise will have been meteoric..

Even being a Tullow player very happy to see him do so well :happy clapper:

Meant to express appreciation for your run down of likely 20s squad/23 Mildly - very informative and helpful!
